Also, can we please take a second to admire this little moment. Amelia has had, what, ten seconds tops? After the revelation that Jimmy isn’t crazy after all and demons are real? And yet the minute she figures out what’s happening, she throws herself into a fight with her neighbor and presumed friend, because Jimmy is in danger. She fights to defend her family. She’s not an idiot, and her previous doubts were totally reasonable, but it’s even more admirable that she didn’t stubbornly cling to them when the time came for action.

Totally not discounting this, she did step up, but she also saw Jimmy elbow deep in a pot of BOWLING WATER for a significant period of time and pull it out good as new and still thought he was crazy. Grl.
